MAG's distinguishable feature is the ability to play a 256-player online match.
Groups of players make up just a fraction of all the players in the whole match, then you perhaps you start getting a better idea of just how "massive" MAG will actually be.
The game will consist of squads, teams and commanders who will communicate via voip chat. Players who have proved themselves to be reliable and smart on the battlefield will be given the option of being a squad commander or will be given the ability to participate in some other form leadership.
Basic battles will take place within ongoing, faction-based campaigns to encourage the player to actively play with at least three factions being considered for inclusion; including American, European and Middle Eastern factions.
Large landscapes, parachute drops and ‘massive action’ battles.
It is believed that the game will be created in third person, however this is not a definite fact yet.
An advanced class system is going to be put in place for players to have the ability to choose between medics, field commandos and demolition specialists.
